At PURR we use Cutera’s Excel HR laser which utilizes two wavelengths (755nm and 1064nm’s) to safely and effectively remove unwanted hair for ALL skin types.

For best results, we recommend a total of 8-10 treatments with a frequency of 1 treatment every 4-6 weeks.

About Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal is the best option for long lasting hair reduction. With a permanent hair reduction rate of 80% or higher, you are sure to be pleased with the results of this treatment. The laser we use is safe for all skin types. It is requested that before the treatment the client shaves the area to be treated the night before or morning of the day of treatment. Please come in to treatment with clean skin (ie no products, make up or moisturizers) and any jewelry surrounding the treatment area(s) should be removed. Tattooed area’s will be avoided during the treatment. Please note PURR only offers Brazilian / Bikini Laser Hair Removal at this time. Patient’s with this service may request other laser hair removal which is subject to approval based on availability.

 After Laser Hair Removal Treatment

For long lasting effects be sure to schedule your appointments on time (every 4-6 wks). Avoid hot tubs or sauna’s for first 24 hrs post treatment. It is typical to have some swelling surrounding hair follicles, also called perifollicular edema after the treatment. You may ice these area’s but they should resolve with in first 24 hours.

About Bioidentical Hormone Treatment

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement therapy (BHRT) is a form therapy using hormones identical to the ones your own body produces when functioning normal and healthily. As we age, and even far before menopause and andropause these levels of hormone may begin to decrease and cause disregulation and disharmony which leads to a feeling of unwell ness, tiredness, and overall lack of youthful feeling. This particular type of HRT is pellet therapy which involves an in office procedural placement of pellets within gluteal fat. It is available for both females and males and lasts between 3-4 months for females and 4-6 months for males.

After BHRT placement

After Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, blood work is followed up in 4-6 weeks to see that levels are optimized. Immediately after treatment there is a short period of time when the patient is asked to abstain from strenuous workouts, sauna’s and hot tubs.

Botulinum Toxin Injections

At PURR we Xeomin Botulinum Toxin which is a type of Botulinum Toxin (like BOTOX) that causes less side effects / reactions and may feel lighter than some other Botulinum Toxins. It is lacking a protein seen in some other botulinum toxins which make it less likely to cause allergy & is a very clean form of Botulinum Toxin.

About Botulinum Toxin Injections

Botulinum Toxin is a great way to treat forehead lines, crows feet and wrinkles between the eyebrows aka 11 lines or frown lines. Treatment should last 3-4 months.

After Botox Injections

We recommend not massaging or manipulating the face for 1 day. Pt may not lay down for 6 hrs post treatment. Follow up is in 2 weeks for best results and or touch ups.

O-Shot

PRP

At PURR we use Selphyl’s incredible technology to bring you the purest form of PRP. This is Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix which is considered “next generation PRP”. The preparation of this type of PRP is operator independent and is a closed system which allows for no contamination and the best product (in Dr. G’s opinion) for this and all procedures involving the use of PRP.

About O-Shot

The procedure takes about an hour and will require numbing prior. There is virtually no downtime and the procedure is recommended every 6 to12 months. O-Shot helps with urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness / atrophy, increased orgasm and with autoimmune conditions such as lichen sclerosis.

We recommend follow up treatment in 6-12 months. No downtime after the procedure provided you feel normal.
